Algea red/brown appeared while I was at work... Is this possibly cyano?

How old is the tank ? Cyano isn't all that bad. No worries !

Two years? Hmmm.... have you increased your bioload lately? It is Cyanobacteria. The only time I’ve had trouble with it in an established tank was when the bioload was too high and there weren’t enough water changes.
