Just need more information on betta
They are from asia. Born and raised in rice patties. They are Labrynth meaning they produce their own oxygen needs so filter not required. Water temp at least 70 deg and they eats insects and brine shrimp as well as SOFT Betta pellets.
DO NOT use tap water for them. I recommend distilled or RO water.

That’s not really necessary. Just keep the tank the right temp and clean. I’d do water changes at least weekly with the size tank you have. Other than that, they are extremely easy to care for.
