Hey everyone! My name is John and I am a new reefer and new member here. I started in May of this year and am running a 12gal curved glass tank. I’ve always wanted to get into reefing and when a classmate of mine in law school told me he had been doing it for years, I asked him to guide me. He’s been a great help so I’ve been able to miss a lot of normal pitfalls, but there are still things I have to figure out myself

Right now I’m running at all in one (with the exception of a 3 gal ATO reservoir I keep under my tank) with a sicce pump, a reactor, a cobalt heater, and an IceCap 1K gyre. I am running an AI prime hd with a curling kit over the tank and have it on a Saxby preset. I have two clowns (black and orange semis), a hammer coral, a frogspawn, a WWC favia (Rambo), a WWC zoa (Armor of God), and 9 new zoas I just got.

As for a cleanup crew, I have an emerald crab, 2 blue leg hermits, two turbos (overkill, I know, but until this bloom is done they’re useful), an astrea snail, and two nasarious snails.
