Out of curiosity, any reefers out there from pierce county? I feel like our corner of the US isnt very jammed packed with us. I also feel like we lack some of the collection of LFS that other parts boast of. Would like to hear from you, jimmy!

I'm in DuPont. I think your correct. Most of the Reefing Stuff come from Cali or the Midwest.

Silverdale cool! What kind of Tank do you have? SPS, Mixed Reef? I have two, a 29g and a 6.25g. Both mostly SPS but some softies and zoas.

Here is my other tank. The colors are actually a lot nicer but i can't get good pics with my phone. Usually too blue. This one looks overly yellow and green.

I'm from Auburn, and haven't gotten my reef set up quite yet. I have a 92 gal in storage, but am thinking I may start with just a 40 gal SPS to start with.
I'm in auburn too. Been doing fresh for years finally decided to try a reef tank. I've just started the process of setting up a 210 gallon . I just started a build thread in the big tanks section.

Hello everybody, I'm in the South Hill Puyallup area. I'm currently doing a 40 gallon breeder tank with softies and LPS. Recently (July) had a heater explode in my tank and lost about half of my corals and fish. This is what it looks like now. Sorry about the picture quality.

Newbie checking in from South Hill/Puyallup.

I feel like we're having such a tough go with LFS and finding local hobbyists !

I'm in the Seatac area. So far I like Sea King in Bellevue and Barrier Reef in Newcastle. Others have said good things about Saltwater City in Bellevue but both times I've been in there their tanks looked rather neglected. Not their display tanks, but the ones from which they are trying to sell livestock. Pretty dirty, floaters, etc. Maybe I just caught them on a couple of bad days...

I'm also excited to check out Cuttle Fish and Woody's Seahorse while I'm down in Portland next week.
