Welcome to R2R! With your current setup, it sounds like you might be able to automate the lights, but only in an on/off configuration, i.e., you turn the lights on at the settings you want to use constantly with the hood, and then use a timer or smart plug to cycle them on and off.

Welcome! Would keeping them turned on all the time, while turning the smart outlet off and on work?
No, the buttons for on and off on the lid like a touchpad and not like a traditional switch. They are flat pads that go through blue,blue white then white then off. So there is not way to keep them on all the time and just use a WiFi switch to tune the socket on and off. It all looks good when you first buy it with it all being integrated but thinking of the future and automated lighting etc makes it impossible.
