Hello everyone, I’m Andy and I’m starting my first saltwater aquarium. Three weeks in and I’ve just got my first signs of Ammonia. Couple of bits of live rock in there too as of yesterday so looking forward to seeing what grows/crawls out of that!
I’m going to have a lot of questions 🙃

Welcome! Im on my first tank too. Yep great place to get questions answered for sure. Found most of mine answered just searching the forums. I put water in the tank back in June. This is my cycle, but i had dry rock and special grade 'live' sand. Tank finishihed its cycle in about 16 days, i dosed bacteria though. Curious to see the difference if you had live rock.

I can’t see any N02 yet but I’ll see how the water tests tomorrow. I’ve already seen some sort of mussel and a few bristle worms and a Stomatella. It looks like I even have a zoa starting to open on the front of one piece, Im very pleased about that!
