New member to the board.

It was nice to see a celebrity Mr Saltwater Tank this weekend at reefapalooza. He recommended joining up.

I am looking to do a 48 x 30 or 48 x 24 tank in the near future.

Previously had done a 30gal tank 20 some years ago.

thanks went to Reefapalooza... Had a grand time. Won a bucket of salt so now I need a tank to go with it (if you read cat and cupcake to your kids you'll get it).

When I finally broke down my 30gal years ago I gave a 8inch long by 3 inch wide round tube of live rock fully encrusted with five or six different zooanthids. I gave my corals to someone whose tank had crashed. Reminiscing while looking at all of the cuttings, today that piece must have been at least worth a 500-800.

I did feel kinda bad looking at all the coral but not really having a home for them yet.

My daughter told me today she wants a clownfish, a goldfish, a crawfish, a fish that is white with black circle things around him, an eel, a starfish, two pretty shrimp.

oh boy... I need to add a dorey fish (tang), also a crab and a sting ray. She's 6... so hopefully I can guide her to a more realistic list of inhabitants.
