Hello everyone, I'm 15 and I'm based in Singapore:) I do not have a saltwater tank (YET!!!), but I'm hoping to get one soon- maybe in 2 years time, once I've done sufficient research and talk about it with my parents. Right now, I only have 1 freshwater tank: A 20 gallon that houses a betta, a few ember tetra, 4 cory catfish, a pair of pea puffers, and some shrimp.

I have loved mixed reef tanks since I was 10 years old, after the first time I visited my LFS. The beauty of the corals and fishes alike captivated me and I was mesmerized. The main fishes that have made me even more attracted to the reefing hobby are the designer clownfish, various species of angelfish, the black tang, lionfishes, and porcupinefishes. The beauty of underwater creatures are just breathtaking.

I am going to ask lots and lots of questions on this forum, so yeah, please bear with me;Shamefullyembarrased. I am very excited to start on my future reefing journey. Thanks for having me!

Welcome! Glad you joined. I was a member for years at my local club's website before I joined, so what you are doing is pretty common.

Taking your time to learn more will also ensure you are more successful.

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
