PGE is the electricity and live in El Dorado County (nor cal)

About $350 a month however every July I have to pay about $2500 in a true up. Otherwise the monthly would be much higher

I also have a 9 solar panels.

225 gallon tank. House stays 72 year round.

What is a true up? Like a catch-up in exchange for lower monthly bills?

Pretty much. My first year in the county the true up was almost $4K. That would have made my electric bill at $1K a month. Madness.

So that's like $550 / month - every month!

What’s crazy is my house is a “smart house” all of the lights are LED and they automatically shut off after 20 mins the windows are energy efficient etc etc. still pay out the wazoo. Plus HOA and melarouse.

Bill is 350USD to 400USD

Though it wasn't until my first saltwater tank that got my bill from 200s to the new 350s+

I cry. Reefers are not okay.
