So today a perfectly circular hike apeared on my leather coral. I have a clownfish a mandarin and a Hectors goby so red sage fish. I also have a few hermit crabs but that is it besides other corals. Anyone know why that appeared?

two reasons it will do this:
a- Shedding/reptoduction
B- Presence of a worm which is rare.

I say part of shed/reproduction. Will emit parts of itself then form back into nice shaping

My leather has two white areas at the edges and one round hole in the middle of it. The edges I was thinking something bit it, but the round hole I am not sure. Reading the above messages makes me think a piece tore off to propagate but I do not find the pieces.
Any clues?
