Any thoughts? The price is decent, and looking at the spectrum it seems to be right in the ranges we need for good macro growth.
I was wandering HD today and spotted it.

Obviously its no Kessil :) But might be a cheap(er) alternative to some of the other lower end LEDs out there.

Sure. But why? For 50$ on Amazon you can find very productive and capable Lights. I spent 79$ and can literally grow chaeto into a 40 gallon brick from a football size in two weeks. Every two weeks I barely stuff all the harvested chaeto into a 5 gAllon bucket. 79$ LED pot grow light, 40 gallon fuge and 300g total system volume.

I have now discovered that with high powered grow lights that flow is the new limiting factor. After I bought the light growth improved very much. It went to ridiculously fast growth when I then doubled flow through the fuge.

I use a Mars Hydro Bulb (Amazon for like $19 I think) and while it works a lot better than the home Depot LED bulbs I've tried. I"ll be buying a UFO soon.

I use a spot grow led from Lowe’s works great For me 7.50$ for bulb 8 bucks for the clamp fixture.. basket ball sized chaeto every three weeks or so
