Typically I think those are run from a controller via an ORP probe. Do you have something like that planned?

Something like that yes.

The guy said i could just plug this one into the wall. Just need to change the power cord. This one is 110 volt.

O3 is poisonous (or is it toxic? both?).

I think preventing an overdose is the purpose of the controller vs just plugging it in to AV power and having it on a continuous rip. (Isn't it?)

Seems that I recall @Paul B talking about his O3 setup....will have to run a search and find those comments. ;)

Its not either from what i understand its an oxidizer. It will damage things. But byproducts like bromide can be toxic.

As you found out you can plug it into a wall. It doesn't say that I can see how much ozone it puts out. I don't think it's much because I don't even see the ozone generator inside so it must be very small. I would use it but I am nuts. Just be sure you don't smell any ozone in your tank how ever you are setting it up. I would run the outflow over a long trough or use some other way to eliminate residual ozone being we don't know how much it produces, it will be experimental. It probably says it on the back or in the literature. Be careful with that thing as ozone will even rot pictures of Mother N Laws

Haha my wife wishes. Thanks for the advice Paul. I looked online. Its 50-70 mg. Not much but is enough i think.

I was going to buy the ozotek one from brs, but $220 usd is crazy. Plus i pay shipping and duty. No thanks. This little bad boy was $165 cad at culigans, which is a very expsensive water store here. But i was impatient so i got this. 45 minutes with and air bubbler did this to a bucket of my tanks water:

I think it is perfect and I would do the same thing. Anyone can buy the correct item for the job, but there is no fun or creativity in that. :D

Isn't another common method for ozone deployment to inject it into your skimmer and then filter the skimmer effluent with activated carbon?

Just an update. Nothing bad happened. Everything seems healthier. Water looks like clear vodka. Star polyps seem to extend upwards more now. Maybe reaching for more light?

Heres an update. After about 4 months of using it, the ozone cell got completely plugged that no ozone came out. Dont buy it!
