My tank is young and not fully stocked yet, but I’d say it’s 40% lps, 30% softie, 10% zoa, 10% sps, and 10% anemone.

If there was one time of coral that I’d say I prefer, it’s lps, I just like big, fleshy, colorful corals. I also like softies and anemones quite a bit. My least favorites (though that shouldn’t imply that I don’t like them) are zoanthids and sps (though for both it really depends on what it is).

Definitely lopsided SpS. 52 SpS, 6 LPS, and 3 mushrooms in a 7month old lagoon.

I only have one soft coral right now but I am aiming for 70% soft corals and 30% LPS eventually in my 20 gallon nano. I don't have the light intensity and enough water circulation for SPS.

I have no idea whats in my reef, where they came from, how much they cost or just about anything else and I can't remember the last time I bought a coral.
It's just a tangled up mess.

100% SPS. I like the challenge they present. I've done the LPS and softie route before but I wasn't happy with the look.

I've got a mixed reef. I think mine is only Lopsided softies simply because of the size of my softies. My toadstool is well over 12-14 inches in diameter. My GSP is layering ontop of itself isolated to a 12" rock. My Acros are growing but not as fast as my toadstool and GSP. I have a superman monti that's spreading. My Orange ricordia are spreading in two different spots... out pacing my stylaphora. My LPS is somewhat in the race simply because my hammers are growing new heads this year. They haven't expanded much prior to this year. They've really bushed out! My Acans are improving but significantly behind my softies and SPS. If this were a horse race and there's an underdog that could come back from behind I'd bet on my new white Alveopora. I've only had it for 3-4 months and it's doubled in size and getting longer heads by the day. Looks great and healthy and bounces in the water flow, that along with my Lobo that's grown two new heads in the last year and half. The stunner chalice may make up for all SPS as it has tripled in size in the past 2 years, along with my purple monti.

I'm second guessing if softies are winning now? The LPS, may be attempting to make a come back. Which I'm happy with. Some recession on one of my two main acros has me concerned something is wrong with my acros... Setting the SPS behind... We shall see in the next year who's ahead. I might be more balanced mixed reef or more heavily sps mixed reef. I'm not sure... Please judge for yourself. :)

My main tank is actually more evenly mixed than I thought, although I'm definitely a bigger fan of LPS and softies. I have 5 SPS (6 if you count the one that may or may not still have a polyp growing), 8 LPS, 7 softies, and 4 zoas.

My nano is all softies plus one very enthusiastic duncan. I do have a frag rack in there with 5 SPS corals that were in need of TLC but they will hopefully go back in the big tank someday - like when I no longer have peppermint shrimps

As the screen name says, I'm into LPS corals. I'd say 70% LPS (6 Scolys, couple of big Trachy Brains, couple of big Elegance, 2 big Bubble corals, a Hammer and an Acan), 20% soft corals, and 10% SPS. I never understood the love of Acros.

Went thru a health crisis plus an ele trial crisis in home. All automated programing went down and lost corals and fish starting to rebuild will be sps and LPS mainly staying away from zoas and palythoas. I am very sensative to them.
