Hi,

My main tank has major branching hydroid infestation. I will tear it down once new tank is up.

How can I transfer my duncan and frogspawn to a temporary tank without infesting the new tank it is going to be in?

The duncan has many heads and still growing.
I can remove it from the small frag rock attached to it, however there are still branching hydroids attached to it.

I have tried 100% dip with peroxide, super hot water, vinegar soak for the live rocks but the hydroids keep coming back. Done 75% water changes and so forth. It is a lost battle.

Can you manually remove the hydroids from the skeleton then dip? That's what I would recommend

I can try. What dip do you suggest?
I have seachem coral dip iodine and peroxide.

I personally use coral Rx or Revive depending on what needs to be done, but I think any should be fine.
