I just ordered a giant bag of Red Sea salt and am planning to store it in a 32 liter plastic bin. I’m considering whether I should buy desiccator packets to keep moisture down and the salt from clumping during storage.

The bags are large and bulky and I find it difficult to store them or seal them up until I've used up quite a lot of it.

Looking to this thread for good suggestions.

Get a 6 gallon bucket and a gamma seal lid.
This is what I use only I put it on a empty salt bucket. Way easier than prying off the lids that they ship with. I have one that I've been using for over 4 years.

Of all the salts I have tried over the years from Aquavitro to IO, this is the first time I tried Red Sea (I like it), it clumps the easiest. I had to go back to the old country methods and put rice in the salt. Granted the bucket was cracked during shipment, but it was still ziptied after every use.

Still haven't found something that'll fit the big salt bag and seal easily

I leave mine in the buckets that I buy them in and so far I’ve never had an issue with moisture.
Same, and I even keep it somewhat outside in the Florida Room.
