I'm a newb, but I feel like they look happy, plump, and healthy. However doing some googling has me worried they're all about to die.

In particular, it's the bumpy flesh that has me curious.

What do you think?

The colour looks good, flesh looks good. The bumps can be a problem, have a look at this discussion to see if you think you have something similar:

I had bumps on my Sps and the best I could trace it down is to excess trace elements… Iron maybe others. There may be other triggers as well.
I still dose trace elements but my ICP now show low or not detectable for number of then. From my experience with trace elements, less is more… I know they are added daily.

Good luck,

Man this hobby is frustrating. Every time I think things are going remotely well, I look closer and it's actually going not well. This is becoming un-fun.
I hear you. With sps, it’s always one thing or another. Then random stn/rtn (bacterial or pest).

If the first one's a Monti, bumps are prolly normal, they're likely just papillae. I do agree that the corals remind me of tulip polyp syndrome.

When you get the tulip polyp syndrome the corals can become hard to identify:

Same acro as above when growing properly:

SPS are finicky corals, they are the first ones to let you know something is not right…

The bottom acro is also deformed, note the rounded thecae and irregular growth form; most corals deform under aquarium conditions.

I believe that my issue was gray bugs. I got a microscope from amazon that let me look at frags pretty easily. Here's a video that shows before treatment. You can see the bug's eyes glowing. Once you see them, you'll notice more.

This is a frag of Icarus smooth skin acropora:

Here's right after treatment:

Here is a few weeks after treatment:

I treated with about .5mg of milbemycin oxime (dog heart worm meds, aka interceptor). I used the version with Prazi in it, since it was easier to get.

I forgot to mention: I did 3 treatments spaced 1 week apart. At the end I did a bigish water change (maybe 40%), then ran carbon for a week. Planning to put the shrimp back in this weekend.

This will kill shrimp (I pulled mine into QT during treatment), pods, and possibly some worms maybe?
