How fast do lionfish grow

Does anyone know how quickley dwarf lionfish grow.at the moment i have several hundred in a holding tank inside my salt water tank

I just got my third one

I am no expert.
Like any fish it depends on feeding and what kind they are. They double in size every few months when small and then slow down

Their dwarf fuzzy lions.got 3 weeks apart the male about 4inches long the female half his size.once a frtnight i put love shrimp and small bait fish in tank.lionfish feed at their leasure.see if they survive then decide what i do

I have 3 in a 285 liter tank along with some other fish and they do well. I like to look at them. I feed mine small live fish and shrimp every other day.

I had one a number of yrs ago and it grew fast, I loved feeding him and he responded by growing. Problem was that he outgrew my tank lol

I've never heard of any successful breeding of lionfish in captivity. Do you have more in depth link to your project. It's a long way from an egg sack to a viable lionfish.

It first time ive had salt water tank in 20 years.didnt set out to breed lionfish.it just happened.ive been trying to up load vid of the fry in hold tank but times out.by my estimate the fry hatched about 11 hours ago.watched fish do mate swim for a hournight before last.layed egg sacks at 11.30pm. Tesday.eggs take 36 to hatch.so that would make it about 10am this morning
