I work for Fish & Wildlife, and from what I could see the first video worked just like I do. :)

No need to worry about me, I love poached lobster!
Can't wait to see the seahorse tank up and running. Do you ever tow a plankton net and catch live food while you are out? That was one of my favorite things to do when I worked offshore. I caught a lot of fish food using lights off the boat at night to attract the swarming creatures into a nice ball that I could dipnet into. Froze what I didn't feed fresh.

Can't wait to see the seahorse tank up and running. Do you ever tow a plankton net and catch live food while you are out? That was one of my favorite things to do when I worked offshore. I caught a lot of fish food using lights off the boat at night to attract the swarming creatures into a nice ball that I could dipnet into. Froze what I didn't feed fresh.

I don’t know if it’s luck or coincidence but we pulled into pack out dock and fish n game was there First time in 7 months. They never come to our dock. They came on board and couldn’t believe how organized my boat is with paperwork and such. They left in 5 min and apologizes for wasting our time

I'm with the state, not the fed F&W and I don't carry a badge for my job. I also don't make a habit of causing problems for people willing to post videos of their fishing gear. That really wouldn't make sense as your local guys figured out. :)

I know a few local CA. fishermen who will sometimes call me if they see something that isn't right. When that happens I do let the warden know about it.

I know a lot of folk at the LFS, and some of those guys who have seen my work uniform have begged me to suit up and "raid" one of the bigger local shops (they advertise on R2R). I've resisted that prank as it could easily backfire but I do think about it yearly when 1 April rolls around.

If I'm ever up your way I may bring my uniform shirt and wait for you at the docks. I think that might be a hoot. :)
