How long can I float a bag?

How long can I float a coral safely? I just got in an order and there are others coming tonight to get them. I hate to open them and rebag them but do not want to leave them in the bags long enough to do damage.

If all I have on are the actinics can I leave them floating for the next several hours? Or at least 4 hours until I can return home form work.

I am on lunch break and must return to the office.

you should be fine.... with them being in there another few hours.... i think it is actually more stress to change water conditions a few timers in a couple hours.... if i got to the lfs and buy th ora corals the day they ge them, i will most likely loose them, but if i wait a few days them i usually have good luck with them.... jmo....

I would just leave it in the bag. I have left stuff floating all day before with no problem.

What type of corals are they? How long have they been bagged up??

Zoo's do ok with 2-3 day priority shipping so they can last too.
