How long will a 200 gallon last ?

So i was gifted a bamboo shark egg from a friend and he finally hatched i currently got him in a 72”x36”x18 and just wanted to know how long would that last before having to upgrade to his forever home “600g”

I don't for certain but you could look up growth rates for your species. When it gets to about 12" is when I would move it to a wider tank.

Also if like most fish, the more you feed the faster it grows.
