I was changing out my 20lb CO2 almost twice a month in my high tech....one of the reasons I got out of planted tanks lol.

Same here and I had to trim my Dutch Aquarium 2 or 3 times a week. It was more work than a reef tank :rolleyes:

This was what it looked like after letting it run wild for just a few days.

Lol I had the same issue.....try trimming dwarf hair grass by hand with scissors twice a week.....and then have to catch all the little grass clippings. It was definitely more work than my reef tanks.

Been there too with both DHG and baby tears. See the photo I added above lol
 
Had tons of FW growing up and pirhanas for years. I miss them I'd like to do a savage tank like that again.
 
I knew there had to be a fresh water thread here somewhere!
My 55gal. Slightly planted tank. (Want more) The are rose barbs Daniel's, sword tails, black tetras, a molly, an albino pleco, and a rainbow or red fin shark.
