I just picked up an ATI hybrid 4x24 watt T5 + 1x 75 watt led. At full power, that's a lot more compared to my current 50 watt LED.

In order to not completely burn my corals, I obviously need to adjust them to the new lighting. What's the best way to do that? I'm new to T5. Do I just let all lights run at a percentage that combined is the same as my current light? For example run the LED at 35% and the T5s at 25%? How fast/slow should I increase the lighting to the desired amount?

When I added my T5 hybrid fixture I just had it on for a couple hours at first. Increasing it 30-60 minutes every week or 2 until I reached my desires time on.

So, my T5s are dimmable. I guess I could just run the LEDs at like 60 - 70% (which would be around 50 watt) and run the T5s at <5%, slowly working my way up, right? Would an increase of 5% every week for the T5s be too much or is that fine?

I think you would be just fine increasing that much per week

Turn old fixture off. Leave new LED module off, but turn on bulbs. Slowly turn up new LED module.

I can't imagine the 4x24watt T5s being locally brighter than a 50watt LED fixture, but they will distribute the light over a much wider area.
