2 days ago i’ve added a chalk bass, a cleaner shrimp and a firefish all at the same time to my 80gal tank already inhabiting 2 snowflake clownfish and 2 pijama cardinals.
The cardinals are the most peaceful thing on earth and stay out the way but my clownfish have accepted my bass and shrimp with no issue. They will hang out right next to them.
However intermittently they will chase and charge at the firefish provoking him to keep jumping. He has now been hiding for the last day under a rock and will come a few inches out. I’m thinking maybe the white colour is confusing it for another clown?
How can i stop my large female clownfishs aggression towards it?

How is your rock work? Is it open style or rock wall style? Clowns rarely go into the rocks, and fire fish normally stay close to the rocks, so I’m wondering if there is enough rock to keep both separate and happy? Just a guess, but IDK, good luck

I had success with fish aggression recently by taping a 12x12 inch mirror to the front of my tank. It mesmerized the fish. 3 days later took it off and no issues.
