Can you guys tell me how you go about feeding a chalice? I just bought my first frag (a 3 eyed bazooka joe watermelon) and I wanted to feed it to encourage growth, however, I haven't seen any feeding tentacles yet. It is extremely colorful and fleshy so it seems very happy, but I have yet to see any tentacles extend. I tried having cyclopeze blow around, but nothing. Any suggestions to help me out? Thank you everyone!

Feeding really isn't necessary IMO.

Bazooka Joe isn't a coral you get expecting fast growth......

I'm too lazy to regularly feed my chalices but when I do I turn off all my circulation pumps and mix up a slurry of Coral Frenzy and Cyclop-eeze. I use a small pipette to drizzle the mixture directly over the chalice. After a few moments they open up and begin to take in the food. I find that I have to fight back some hermits because they see an easy meal, though. I leave the pumps off for 15 minutes or so to allow them to finish eating then fire everything back up (I usually feed everything this way, Acans, scolly's etc.., not just the chalices).
