This is my 20 gallon tank that’s about 3 months old and I already feel like there’s no rooms for corals? Might just be the reality of a 20 gallon but I only have 10lbs of rock in there so I was thinking about adding some more in and I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or what they would do to get more room for corals.

Hard in small tanks. I have made single frag magnets i sometime epoxy small reef rocks to or often just a frag square and put coral on it and place on back glass and i have then all over my back glass. I has given me plenty extra room and can have them up high where nothing would be. Works for me my tanks a 40b though but i did it in a 10 cube before that.

THIS^^^^^^
i could fit TONS more in that tank.
Looking good!!
Kinda just confused on where to start🙃 I feel like if I added any more rock in it would just look like the white one that’s laying on the ground, and I want to add in more height to grow corals that need more PAR but I just feel like it’s sorta impossible without rearranging everything.

Probably best to slow down some and let things grow some and think about where you might put corals that would be better suited for your tank size and shape

you have lot room on bottom on sand as well.....could put some down there...coral i mean
So can corals grow just on the sand bed? Or do they need a frag plug or a rock or something to attach too? I put a war coral on the sand bed and it started to bleach from the sand that was rubbing up on it, it’s the one that’s in the bottom right white rock, and what type of corals do well with low par? I have one ai prime that runs about 80 percent at its peak and the sand bed is about 30” down from the sand bed. I always kinda just wanted to add more rock to provide hiding spaces for my yasha goby.

generally yes it needs to be attached to a rock or frag plug or it will blow around. Some corals need different flows and lighting. You could add more rock if you wanted its your tank. I like having some extra rock then breaking it to smaller piceces that i may need to put in certain spot to glue corals to. Look for low light corals for the bottom if you think your light isnt strong enough. If sand was blowing on the war coral its the flow that killed it. Corals like that dont need much flow

You dont want sand blowing up and settling on your corals. You may need to adjust your power head more towards the surface and less towards the sand or slow it down some if it just moves you sand in piles. Also depends if your using really light sugar sand thats a pain to stop the moving and piling up

I just got two new power heads for that exact reason, the old one I had was a aqua clear 860gph so I had to aim it all the way up to the surface to get low enough flow which led to the sand getting blow over on that side and like you said that’s probably what bleached the war coral since it was in by there,
Thanks for the advice.
