How to stop getting notifications about ads?

I only want alerts/notifications about things I post or replies to me. Most of the alerts are just ads. Where can we turn that off?

Go to your Account and "Preferences". You should find Email options and other notification settings there.

Mine aren't email, they're the little bell notification. I couldn't find that in the preferences settings. They're all from reef2reef admin.

Hey there! As mentioned earlier, these items are just threads our team picks out that we think are good conversations for members to check out. You can typically opt out of these yourself using the "Join Usergroup" option, but it looks like that was broken with the website update last week.
