How to take corals home? Can they board a plane?

I know this is a super old thread BUT when I googled the subject this thread was #1 on Google results. I would like to share my success with bringing coral on a plane as a carry on item. I have multiple corals in a cooler and there is a lot of water way more than 3 oz. In fact the cooler is full with probably over a gallon of water
