Hi all, I've been reading and enjoying this forum for a while so I figured I should go ahead and register.

New to reefing as of 4 months ago, spent many years raising and breeding african cichlids in a previous life, soil microbiologist by education, professional water consultant for public water systems in Texas.

When my niece (who lives with me) told me she wanted to be a marine biologist I knew it was time to get a salt water tank. I purchased a biocube 32 in May and it was off to the races. Unfortunately, my niece has shown very little interest in the tank. I, on the other hand, have been sucked in hook, line, and sinker.

I will look forward to learning more about the hobby with you guys!

Welcome. Not sure of your niece age, if she’s like my kid drop a water proof phone in there playing utube and she will never leave the tank :)
