Hydor Smart Level Alarm silencer

So if anyone out there is like me, you are absolutely sick of the dang alarm going off during feeding. I cant take credit for this (Found on another forum) Figured id share it here...
The mod is really simple. You first need to desolder the speaker from the board and resolder one pin back to the board and the other pin to a switch.

I robbed this small switch out of one of my son's toys.
After doing this I cut a small hole in the cover and had the wife make me some labels. BOOM!! no more annoying butt alarm when I dont need it.

Why not just flip the off switch? That worked for me.

Because you will throw off the "calibration" Per Hydor the water level must cover the bottom sensor only prior to turning the unit on.
