Can anyone recommend the best way to setup hydra 26 lights for a mixed aquarium corals and fish..

There are several popular programs that you could download. I haven't started stocking corals yet, I'm still dabbling with the settings and schedule myself. Here is a couple of links to get you started. A bunch of fellow reefers are using the AL hydras so I'm confident you will get your questions answered. :)
