Are you delivering it directly to the algae or just pouring it into the DT? Do you see bubbling in the water itself when you dose it? Do you see any bubbling at all?

Your best bet is to target it directly in-tank with a glycerine and 3% h2o2 mix, using a syringe. A 5ml oral syringe from the drug store works great for metered dosing each session. After lots of mix testing in my tank, I decided on using a 2:1 cartridge system meant for 2-part adhesives to consistently mix and deliver 2 parts h2o2 and 1 part glycerine. I just fill up an empty 50ml cartridge almost to the top, insert the plunger plugs and put it in the gun. I use a standard twist mixing nozzle and a 14ga SS needle to dose it at the surface of the rock, down inside the algae and also to flood pockets and control flow across large less-thick areas. I have some extra stuff if you want to try it out. You'll need a generic 50ml cartridge gun to dispense it. I only have 1 but I have lots of spare cartridges and nozzles and possibly 1 other, shorter 14ga SS needle.

The glycerine (USP 99.7% food grade only!) is a concentrated carbon source, so don't dose more than 5ml/gallon of 2:1 mix per 24 hours or until your skimmer calms down. Overnight, the skim bucket will likely fill up with dark sewage water unless your carbon consumption is pretty high. If you've overdosed it will continue extracting the bacteria and carbon, filling the skimmer and you'll have a massive bloom to wait out. Don't dose any more glycerine and h2o2 until the bacterial bloom is gone. It's best to mechanically remove what you can first, then hit the really thick patches on the tops of the rock first. Give that 48 hours to bleach and die out then see what the clean-up crew leaves behind. They love the stuff when it's dying for some reason. Treat what's green only. You may have 3 or 4 treatments across a few weeks before you see a major difference in reduction overall. It WILL come back unless there is enough algae in the sump to keep the nutrients down in the DT or if the coralline is strong and fast enough to take over the rocks inch by inch.

I said 5ml/gallon max dose, but that's wrong. I meant 5ml/10g or 50ml (one cartridge)/100g. This is mostly due to the carbon content. You'll have a brown bacterial feast if you overdose on glycerine. It's not deadly, but the more you overdose, the longer it will take (and more cleaning) to resolve. It'll plug up your sock, sponge filters and slime up everything. I did that twice when testing. Ugh.. One time it took a week of daily dumping, wiping, rinsing and scraping.

Yessir! It's a consumable/non-toxic weight that binds to the peroxide. I tried adding sodium bicarbonate to provide longer sticky time, but it just ended up blowing my alk out and it did not help do anything in-tank to make the solution work faster/better. The 2:1 solution is heavy, fairly "hot" and goes into the surface of the rock or the base of really thick growths and oxidizes from the bottom, upward as it dilutes.

The thicker you make it, the slower the reaction is as the glycerine dissolves into the water. I've done 2:1 backwards before and while it may soak in farther and react slower and longer you will be playing on the edge of a bacterial bloom. The 2 parts perox 1 part gly mix works fast on healthy dark green matter. The reverse is good for that one little spot that just won't freaking die. LOL

I'm still doing trials on my 90, but so far I've removed my GFO, added some money plant to the refug and have a poly mat floating over half the refug to grow an algae mat. The snails, blenny and nudis are keeping most of my treatment areas fairly clean. I still have to spot treat as rocks get ignored by them. That rock is usually spotless within 2 weeks and starts growing back after 3-4 weeks depending on po4 levels. The GFO is only getting used when I have a major spike in phosphates after the massive GHA boost I saw.

Just giving an update. I am currently dosing 10 ml of 35% HP and the Dinos appear to be healthier than ever. I am half tempted to stop altogether as dosing appears to make it worse. I believe that's a lot of HP. Any thoughts.

If you don't get results by the prescribed method in the prescribed time, don't presume more is better in either respect.

10ml/gal daily for 7 or 8 days. If H2O2 is gonna help, that dosage will do it.

H2O2 is not good for your corals.

FYI, what ended up helping was even-more-aggressive detritus removal and aggressive physical removal of the offending diatom/dino.

11.7x10 ml= 117 ml of 3% hp
117/140 gallons= 0.8 hp/gallon

BTW, I never found a source for "food grade" peroxide, so like most who use the formula I just used the grocery store stuff (3%) and hoped for the best....I don't think mine claimed what stabilizer was used.
