Coral has been coloring up nice and growing since adding the stratons, LPS has been a bit of a struggle I think due to the spectrum change. Haven’t lost anything but definitely not as extended even though the PAR is almost exact. When I changed the lights after a week cyano started showing up with a vengeance even though no nutrient changes, I run these lights much whiter than the G5’s, no idea if thats a thing or not but its going away on it’s own. I got my triton ICP results back and everything was green other than Iodine was really low. Tank is just waking up but here is a few photos ( One day I have to figure out how to take even a decent photo)-

Looks like the stratons are working for you nicely. You may already know this, in which case please ignore this point, but I didn’t know that pocillopora polyps can bail out and reproduce throughout the tank. They’re pretty easy to kill, and never gets invasive, but I found it annoying enough to stop keeping poccis.

yeah, lol,I have a few growing around even in about 80 PAR. It was a starter along with birdsnest when I setup the new tank, didn’t expect it to live. That started off the size of my pinky tip in June and grows like a weed

Well around 7 PM sitting on the couch after a nap and we hear everything power off other than the lights that are on its own circuit. Even more frustrating is the return are on a dedicated circuit and they still kicked off due to the Aqua bus. Apex head unit died shutting off all of the outlets on 2 power bars. Power cycled it, reset it, loaded config, and nothing. Listed out all of the outlets but the on/off was completely blank and would not load anything in both Fusion and local. So just got done doing a mad rush swapping the head unit even after loading the save I still had to plug-in modules in order. What a nightmare, not including the fact that all the wiring is trashed due to the fact of having to trace out 3 DOS's, a Trident, 3 modules, 2 return controls, and dealing with the FMM in the garage. This is exactly why I keep an extra complete Apex and 2 return pumps around. Now to see what Neptune has to say and try out their support. Unit is 4 days over a year old and never needed their support. Of course, this happens on Thanksgiving of all days. @NeptunePaul if you can provide any feedback on what would cause this.

Yeah, exactly what I said to the wife. Even fallback failed like both power bars completely lost power even though they didn’t. I searched for a failure like this and found nothing

Ended having to return the controller, it was for a heater and chiller, even though both can be set to heat you can only use one at a time so no good for me with running dual heaters.

Received the Kessil’s today and added a scribbled rabbit fish today. Bad news is the kole tang is not a fan but also has spikes down its face and a fat lip from trying to pick on it. Looks like it has 5 bee stings

Did the dreaded 1 year maintenance (13 months? And swapped out both COR20’s, UV unit, cleaned skimmer and sump out. I keep a spare of everything pretty much other than a skimmer pump so I can just swap things and also a spare APEX and EB bar on hand for emergencies
