Thanks it's had to be in the tank for a better part of a year hasn't seemed to bother anything but I don't want to take any risks

Still looking for you.... What have you introduced lately if anything ie; new LR or big Soft Coral attached to LR ??? Sea Slugs are normally quite specific feeders and their coloring and or patterns often give a good clue to what its preferred diet is.

Drawing a blank finding it in any of my many books but the link below will get you an ID I'm quite sure. I linked directly to their ID page so just post same pics and see what the real Sea Slug Pros come up with here. I've spent nearly two hours wandering around in this vast forum on Sea Slugs and related species, very impressive.

That's a polyclad flatworm, bad news. They are carnivores - snail/clam predators.
