Hi,

I was watching my tank this morning before I left for work and the lights were off as not due to come on yet and I noticed a small like crab walking around on my live rock. I looked to be like a grey colour almost see through? I didn't buy it but added live rock the otherday so wondering if it came from that?

Looks like a crab for sure but I can't see it well enough to tell what kind. Maybe you got lucky and scored a hitchhiker emerald crab. Mine look kind of grayish sometimes.

Have any of you heard of a crab like bug? If not I've definitely got lucky lol. I have an emerald crab already and he is big, this thing is tiny.

If you pause the video at around 15 seconds it definitely appears to be a crab claw. It moves like a crab too but it's difficult to get a good sense of scale to see how small it is.

I'm not sure what type it is, but I agree 100% that it is a crab.

I only know a handle of very specific crabs and can't even haphazard a guess at the general population. He's waving a claw at ya, though.

I have no idea what he is, so I honestly can't say.
