That could be as simple as, it doesn’t detect enough heat to kick fans on.
Oh. Ok. Let me see. Right now it’s below the temp. Im hoping it was that simple. I’d be so sad if I caused another problem

@olonmv you are correct. Fans are working. Light looks good, but I don’t know because it seems like problems happen after I hook it on the tank.

I’m starting to lean heavily on those 2 objects I circled, maybe contactor? Is there any clicking noises when the lights flicker?

Do you have something you can prop it up on face down and let it run for a bit. so you dont go through the trouble of hanging it and have it happen again.

No obvious connection issues then huh?

Please watch this video. It’s making a weird sound that goes in the same flickering pattern. The lights started flickering too.

What I circled in purple were the cables I removed and put back in. Did I miss something else? Did I not reconnect the proper wires? Only channel 2 is causing the problems. Same channel as the original issue from beginning of thread

That looks more like a faulty control to be honest. It’s not flickering, looks more like dimmer has gotten a mind of its own. Time to call customer support.

Ok, those objects I circled are indeed relays (contactors) here’s a shot in the dark..... try disconnecting the dim signal to the ballasts and see if the ramp up/down of lights continues. This should force it to stay 100% on. C206D811-BA6E-4BE4-802E-9A31BCF2BB34.jpeg

Sweet. I really don’t want that dimming function anyway. Question, there are 2 wires in the arrow. Do I unplug them both?

That’s a ten four. And make sure you cap (insulate) the ends. It won’t hurt you since it’s just a 0-10v signal but you could damage the dimmer control. You can take it a step further and group the wires to their perspective ballast after you cap them.
