It’s almost Christmas and as I watch my tank enjoying my days off I see this white small string going from one side of the rock alllll the way to my frogspawn. As it gently touches, smacks , wrap around my frog spawn the frog spawn retracts. Gets upset and is sick of behind stung by this small white string. As I look around I see the same white string but coming from another area that’s smacking my clam and making it retract. Then again some where else bugging my octo spawn...
What is it you say?! veremetid snail!
I hate them... I have killed them with super glue over the past month at least 30 of them. I have used coral snow, I have slowed feeding, I got bubble bee snails, I have emeral crabs all things that might work to get rid of this nasty pest. I have smashed and gabbed and dug the black or red worm out of its hidding space that you call a veremetid snail. But yet I see more and more taking real state on my rock work. The best ones of all is when they attached behind the rocks or in areas it’s impossible to get to.
Has anyone have any success on ridding there tank of this nasty pest?!
Please help out if you can!
Merry Christmas
