This monopoly lawsuit was present before the iPhone even hit the market but it was just in the "developing stage." Personally, I would love an iPhone if I could modify it to work on Verizon. AT & T/Cingular blows in my area.

Piece of crap phone!. I returned after 6 days. AT&T service is horrible also. Nothing but problems. with the product and services. Apple sucks.

Yea I am no fan of AT&T. They treat us bad here at the Church. We have 4 lines and our base amount we pay is over $400 monthly. They are very rude and hard to work with. We are going to try out comcast very soon. :D

I have an I phone and I love it. My first one malfunctioned and they overnighted me a new one. True verizon has the best service but you can't beat the I phone and apples customer service

I'd heard the browser was painfully slow, but with new products, the second generation should be alot better

my comcast phone has a battery backup as well, something like 10 hours or so. Lucky my power never stays out more than an hour or two.

But that is why I have a cell phone. I hardly ever use the regular phone. I only had it for the TiVo but don't need that now because I got that on my network.

I would love to get an iPhone but AT&T service stinks horribly at my house.

Wow At&t is awesome here where i live. Always have full bar. My friend comes over to my apartment and has Verizon and sometimes he loses signal here.

Comcast told me they had that battery backup that was going to last 10 hours.
It did the first time. The second time we lost power, it lasted about 5 hours and the last time the power went out, so did the phone.

Then last week when the cable internet went out, so did the phone.
So they have a few bugs to work out in my area.

I used to be a truck driver and had cingular for like 1.5 weeks and told them where to send their phone this was before att baught them out I had more dropped calls than any other service I ever had before I was anything but happy and will never recomend cingular/att to anyone I mean come on when a call get dropped when you are standing in your home with full signal whats up with that

I personaly would love to have an Iphone but I would not tolerate the absolute crapy service from att

hey rev I was just wondering if you had talked to att about lowering the rate due to you beeing a church 400 for 4 lines is 100 a month I only pay 15 a month for my land line I think you seriously need to get somthing done about that as they are stealing from your church

as for those batery backups what do you do when the power goes out longer than your battery has life and you have an emergancy :O not to mention if you live out in the country they can be very staticy and drop calls just like crappy celuar service

Yeah, but you can do that with just about any cell phone now days.

Any body have there battery go out on there Iphone yet? My friends battery just fried and he has to send the whole phone into Apple so they put a new battery in. Hes gotta go a week and a half with no phone just to get a new battery!

card, your friend will not have to go without his phone. Apple will overnight a phone to him and then he will use the same box to overnight his phone back free of charge. If apple deems his phone non-repairable then they will send him a new phone. It happened to me. Great customer service

They did send him a loaner but thats just too much trouble for only needing to replace a battery that only lasted two months. Plus they charged him to "upgrade" to overnight shipping.
