Hi everyone, I don't know if this is the right section for my question. I am a marine biology student from Italy and I'm looking for a place to do my 9-months internship. I'm interested in marine fish reproduction (and I bred clowns as an hobbyist). I want to ask you the name or contacts of the companies or institutions you know are working in this field. It doesn't matter if they are around the globe or in Europe. I don't know if is allowed by the forum to post these names but you can write them by private message. Thank you so much in advance.

Hey I’m a fellow marine biologist as well except I study coral development. Are you wanting to get paid or would you be open to a teaching program where you pay them? https://wsorc.org/marine-conservation-internship/ is a good website to get started and if your looking for jobs basically then there’s this website https://wsorc.org/marine-conservation-internship/. Unfortunately the program I was involved in has since shut down but you would have really liked it!!

There’s Rising Tide Conservation which deals primarily with aquaculture work and research. They publish a ton of info on how the species they’ve helped breed are actually bred (the process), and they’ve been involved with some really cool stuff that way.

No I don't want to pay or be paid, I'm looking for a place where i can work in exchange of knowledge. Moreover I have to write my university dissertation on some kind of study done during the period spent in the company/institution.
