I pad 2 charging issues

Does anyone else have issues getting their I pad 2 to charge? I just got it tonight and the battery isn't all the way dead but when I wanted to charge it it told me that it wasn't charging? Is that a common issues for the I pads?

I do have to say though that I absolutely love this I pad and I love it!!!! It's got slot of cool features to it and I don't regret getting one!

The Ipad 2 is awesome! I have had no problem with charging at all.

Did you get the apple care? You should call them. My brother works for apple and he said thats not normal. and if you have apple care they are suppose to take care of it. Let me know. Maybe I can do something.

Are you using the charger that comes with it???? They won't charge on a phone or iPod charger.... In other words the regular USB charger doesn't supply enough amperage.... I have that problem all the time when I plug it into my phone or pc etc... They have a extra high powered charger.... There nice for charging phones and iPods in half the time lol.

Dang, well I guess that is better for me anyways, lol I can now sit in the living room, eat dinner, watch tv, take a nap, and do whatever I want in the living room and STILL search R2R all at the same time, I feel like I'm on top of the world now....

Not necessarily true. I charge mine on my MacBook and Lenovo laptop all the time with no issues. I also use old iPhone chargers and iPod chargers.

Can I use one charger for 2 apple devices?
I had Iphone 4 and now I also have iPad2, I want to know that can I use same Charger for both devices.

Yes, you can. The ports on the iPhones and the iPads are the same, almost all apple products use the same style of charger, the cord that is a USB on one end and a apple end on the other, aside from the MacBook which is different. What is different about some chargers through apple is the actual wall plugs, some have smaller voltages or whatever and will still charge your device but may take more time, i.e, if you lose you iPad charge (like myself) you can charge your iPad via a iPhone charger, however, because the iPhone chargers are a smaller voltage, then you will have to literally charge your iPad for 3-4 hours more than normal.

Tip of advice, dont lose your charger....expensive to replace, and it's always good to have multiple ones. At the house we literally have 5 iPhone chargers (3 iPhones, 2 iPods) and then 1 missing iPad charger yet to be found...
