I posted this in the algea forum but we were not sure if this is even an algea. Can someone help with an identification. It's pink and translucent.

Whoa! Those are quite the creatures you have there.

Was thinking I had seen it all, but that is new to me. I think I would be trying to syphon that out if I could. Did those just pop up? Can you tell if they have a foot like an anemone?

They stated about 4 weeks ago. The tank is about 6 months old but the rock has been soaking about 9 months. It looks like it has tenticles but no mouth or foot. Some of the tentcles branch off several times at the top. It doesn't retract when touched and it doesn't seem to have a sting. I broke a piece off about half way up. It's about an inch long.
