YIKES!!! Here in WV we had a lot of snow, freezing all night long, and going to get about 4 more inches of snow today. Glad to have a back up on the tank :) Hopefully it will not need to be used. Hope everything thaws soon for you.

That's about what Mississippi looked like back in 94 after the ice storm went through. People were without power 6 months later... My mom was north of Memphis and was without power for over 6 weeks. Not fun...

I'm in good shape at the time' But the lines brake as fast as Thea fix them.

I'm so glad i dont work for a power company i fell for thous workers the power trucks
runaround trying to work all night.

That is crazy. Glad to hear your tank is back up and running.

Thanks all so far so good. Hard from Doc at reef doctors and he got a large gen set up just before it hit so he is good at least i hope.

ouch that sucks. it is bad here to. a blistering 78 and all these dang palm trees are in the way of my blue skys. dang this florida weather ;) lol sorry had to do it

Sorry you're going through that. I don't mind winter weather in general, but there are few things worse than a serious ice storm. The damage is usually extensive and there's essentially nothing you can do about it. Hang in there and I hope your electricity keeps working.

I am hoping my boat dock on Bull Shoals Lake, just west of Lead Hill, Arkansas is still floating. I saw a very LARGE dock at Table Rock Lake with a bunch of boats in the slips that sunk!! I know as of Tuesday they declared Boone County in Arkansas a disaster area. My husband and I will be putting a large generator with an automatic cross over switch in when our house is built and we make the final move there. Every place has a trade off but the Ozarks have the best people and the most beautiful country that God ever created...IMO...I can hunker down for the occasional ice storm or tornado...it's worth it.

Maybe will be in the same general location jerryc...do I see possible fragging and trade opportunities in our future??? That would be great!

Ohio got hit rather hard also. In Lebanon (Central Ohio) we recieved about 4 inches of snow. Then came the ice storm on tiop of the snow which dropped about 1.25 inches of ice. And after that the snow came again with about another 4-5 inches ontop of the ice.
Cant wait until my wife is done with school so that we can move back to the south.....

Also, there might be some people in my area that do not have any power at there homes. I know that some people that dont have power at there homes that are still able to access the internet from there work and read the forum.
Anyhow, if you are in my area, Lebanon Ohio or near then I will gladly tank all of your coral until you get power back. I have plenty of room at this time. So, feel free to contact me.
