Noticed white spots on some of my fishes 6 days ago, put them in QT and treated with Ick remedy, high temp, now day 6 and the spots reappeared with a vengeance. Thought it was ich now I am not sure. Might be Velvet?

Size of grains suggests ich. You will need to treat in a quarantine setting and treat with either coppersafe or copper power at therapuetic level 2.25-2.5 monitored with a reliable copper test kit such as hanna - not api kit
Treatment Must be for a FULL 30 days and you will have to have your display tank Fishless(known as Fallow for 6-8 weeks to assure the parasites within display live their life cycle without a host fish and die off
Add aeration during treatment and monitor ammonia level also with a reliable test kit

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

It does look like ich. Velvet would cause rapid breathing. Trouble is, it is difficult to get copper medications in Canada. The tank looks bare, no invertebrates - if so, you can do a hyposalinity treatment:

Thanks for the replies! I am waiting for Copper Power Blue to arrive to put in QT. My main tank had only newer corals that had not spread so I put them in another empty tank, changed the water with freshwater and turn the temp up. That would kill the ich right? Still planning on keeping it fallow for a while and then cycling and eventually adding corals, and after the fishes just in case there is still something.

Well, the trouble is that the corals you moved out could have been carrying ich tomonts on them. That can start the infection up again, you should keep the corals away from fish for at least 6 weeks.
