I have a 75G tank and for the past 3-4 days I have noticed a couple of my fish do some excess scratching on the rock or sandbed. Today I noticed a few (very small) spots on my tang and royal gramma. I decided to be proactive and treat with Coppersafe with a little bit of Safeguard for stress. I also underdosed with the Coppersafe by about 15 gallons. I tried to get out as many snails as I could but I know alot are hiding in the rocks. I also have 2 pieces of GSP coral I got for free. Did I just doom the rest of my snails and coral? I thought being proactive instead of reactive would be a good thing, but everything im reading now says I have time if it was Ich. I just didnt want it to be Velvet and not have enough time for treatment!
I do not currently have a QT so please please please dont bash me or have rude comments, I have it in the works and definitely regret not having one from the get go!
I also was not able to get any good pics of the fish. The tang was too fast and not cooperative and you cannot even see the dots on the gramma (which are on the tail which I know is not normal for Ich to pop up on)
