@HotRocks @3Ford1AstonFamily evening,

Is it possible ich has shown back up or lympho for poor water quality. I have squareback Antius, flame hawk, orange back fairy. It has been 21 days since therapeutic copper. Noticed one single white spot between gills of wrasse. And also one single spot on anthius.

Would this be a signature of ich post copper. I ran 14days. Then transferred to sterile tank to start the GC. Tonight I was getting ready to put into display and got paranoid seeing those two spots.

Thanks

It’s possible, how did you measure copper? What kind of copper did you use? How often did you test?

I’d watch it. A photo would be helpful as well.

Flame hawk is hiding but he looks perfect.

I used cupramine

Tested every day

Used hanna checker

☆I had one day on my chart it dropped to .49 but I think it was me testing. Checker didnt go through 45 seconds that day cause I miss pressed button☆

So out of copper. Waited 24hr and started GC. GC doses I followed exactly stated on box. Dose, wait 48hrs. Re dose, waited 48hrs. And then did water change

You think I should redo GC or parazi. What dose that spot on wrasse look like to you?

Also for last week the water quality had been lower than I'd usually keep it, as I was planning on transferring soon and was holding of water change. Which next time I wont do that. These photos are after a large water change I did

Almost looks like an injury or a fluke. Don’t see anything on the Anthias.

You can try a freshwater dip, see what happens. Do it in a dark bucket with temp matched and look for “sesame seeds”.

Aside from that, if nothing shows, would you caulk it up as injury? And doesnt look like ich to you then?

And colouration on wrasse in this photo is a little off. Because I did large water change and probably annoyed him. Typically his colours look perfect. And the anthius is a prick. And would constantly chase wrasse to surface.

Also if injury, what again do I dose into water to prevent infections. Furan or kanaplex is it?

I would not treat as infection at this point if injury. If the spots go away in a few days it may be ich. If they move around, flukes. If they grow in numbers over the next week or two and don’t move, probably ich.

I’d observe for another couple of weeks.
