Just lost all my fish to ich. I have a 55 gallon reef tank. Should I start all the way over? Does ich stay on live rock? If so how to get rid of it? Does it stay in substrate? Please help

It you leave your tank without fish for 70ish days, Ick will be rid from your tank.
It’s the only way. Everything stays but no fish.

If your talking about replacement fish so to speak, I would not start QT till about 20-30 days before your fallow period ends.

This would mean your new fish have 30 days of QT before their home is rid of ick.

This way you only have to manage them for 1/3 of the total time.
