Hey jay so comes to find out I did indeed have marine velvet. I lost fish slowly each day. Signs of heavy breathing and some even stuck in my powerhead. My question is now how long do I leave my DT fishless? I have all my corals and inverts there. The rest are in quarantine with copper in separate tank and hoping the best. Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry, I don’t have really good data for leaving a tank fallow due to velvet. Worst case is 76 days, that’s what is used for ich in cooler water. I used to use 45 days, but that is at higher temps, greater than 81 degrees.

Why not break the tank down, disinfect ? Start over ?
