Have a 40gal qt tank with a queen angel, flame angel, and 3 clownfish. They been in the tank for 3 weeks without meds. Just noticed yesterday a white mark on the chin of the queen angel. I assume it's ick. No spots on any other fish in tank. Just wanted to make sure before I start the the copper.

It seems too big for Ich. but - a sideways picture would help. It looks more like something like lymphocystis, etc. Anything else on any of the other fish

I meant to say - it is a beautiful fish. BTW - can you tell the rapidity as to the how long it took for the lesion to develop

Not ich . Ich will look like someone sprinkled the fish with SMALL grains of salt.
These fish are susceptible to lymphocystis but this is not lympho but appears to be bacterial (may have been post injury infection).
Treatment in seperate quarantine will be seachem kanaplex or Ruby Rally Pro which is reef safe. With Ruby- start with a 90 minute bath

Can I put the 3 clowns and flame angel in the display tank or do I need to treat them too?

Can you get another shot from the side? Also, is that another growth on its pelvic fin?
I can’t rule out lymphocystis - I see two more possible spots starting on its right pectoral fin.
I would always suggest giving the fish preventative treatments - see the current quarantine protocol at the top of the fish disease section.
Good picture btw, I wish everyone could post them this clear!

Just purchased KanaPlex from LFS. Just waiting to hear what everyone thinks. I really appreciate all the help everyone is giving. Thank you

I'm seeing Lymphocystis here, I don't see any overt signs of bacterial infection.

Yes - it does go away - it also is longer than a week an a half IME. BUT - it can.
