Hello Randy! I am having a slow loss of my large walt Disney colony over many months. It has died from the bottom up towards the tips and from the right to the left over like four months. I haven't been able to find any pests such as white bugs to help explain it. Now my CBB maleficent is slowly losing encrusted base. Here is my ICP testing over that recent time. Do you see any clear indicators? By the way my RO is a three stage pro cation anion mixed bed resin. I do see the silicate which is odd. I have well water. I degas it after RO.

There’s plenty of debate on whether N and P that high is good, bad or otherwise. Are they stable at those levels?

Are you dosing iodine?

Has the alk been stable?

Alk has fluctuated based upon various screwups like letting my kalk container run empty at normal levels between 7 and 9.5 but to no more degree than ever. My nutrients I have been dropping heavily through larger than normal water changes (30%) and heavy (2 cups at a time) GFO usage with once per two month replacement. That's certainly a possibility. I continue to see some recession at a very stable pace though and so figured it wouldn't be a rapid thing. Perhaps not so? I haven't done a water change for two weeks and have lost most of the maleficent encrustation in that time period.

Sounds like none of those low or high levels alarmed you though? That makes me feel better. I have dosed some ChaetoGro since those results came back to get my iron back up. I know it's mostly potassium but it has some iron.
