I normally did water changes and did not dose. This time last year I started dosing and stopped doing water changes.
Everything's looking good in my tank but thought I would get a ICP test just to see where things are at and if there was any problems.
I know nothing about ICP test any suggestions on who to use ?
thanks

Oceamo, ATI or Fauna Marin seem to have a positive reputation. ICP testing is far from perfect though so take your results with a grain of salt

I went with Fauna Marin "Reef ICP" at about $25.

I'm happy with the results presentation:
-- PDF report as expected
-- website view for digging into specific results is easy/navigable

*no idea about accuracy of one company vs another

OK, so that explains the high chloride and the low sulfate. It would be better to use my DIY part 3 or Balling Part C to prevent that issue.

Not sure where the lithium is coming from, but it may not be an issue.

Are you doing water changes? Nitrate is pretty high and it would help reduce some of the other variations from NSW.

Thanks for replying. I just got balling part C and A and K but havent started using it yet.
Not doing water changes and have turned skimmer off and removed most of my algae as I was trying to get nitrates and phos up as it was showing zero for awhile and I was actually dosing nitrate. But havent done that for few weeks.
Can you tell me what is 143. MG of nitrate is on a hanna checker not sure how to convert that. ? I think last time I did it I was at 12 on the hanna checker and phos was .018 on the hanna

143 mg/L = 139 ppm in seawater

Made up the part C tonight I have a old liter meter 3 that im going to setup and use for dosing it. I put 4 scoops in a gallon of water.

So for dosing that I should dose 212 mils if im dosing 425 mils alk right ?
Right now im dosing 425 ALK and 435 CAL

Thanks again for all your help.
