Hi There, We have a 500 peninsula Red Sea with skimmer, reef mat, algae reactor for reference. Already using Rowa and carbon. Don't know why the phosphate is that high as I had measured it via hanna checker and it was still high ish at 0.13ppm. Any ideas on what is best to get the results better? I was thinking Red Sea trace colours A.B.C. and dosing Molybdenum, selenium, vanadium and magnesium. Changing the carbon and rowa for new. Was looking at pHPlus, but unsure on how that works. I was also going to wait until calcium and Alk had reduced before I did anything about the pH? (The redsea doser added too much Ca + Alk) Any help would be amazing!
Also we have a mixed reef with about 10 torches and a lot of other coral (sorry its the hubby's tanks and I'm not sure of what its all called haha!)

What company did the ICP? Was it ReefZelements themselves, or someone else?

Some of its recommendations seem weird to me.

Note that your salinity is low (I'd fix that), but when reported in three different units of measure (conductivity, specific gravity, and ppt), they show three different places on their color bar.

Conductivity shows smack in the middle o green, but is low.

Salinity is ppt shows borderline green yellow, but is low.

Specific gravity shows is red, and is low by the same amount as the other two.

Do not take their advice to dose magnesium. If you simply raise salinity to 35 ppt (natural ocean average), it will rise to their target level (and be well above the ocean average).

Same weirdness for alkalinity in three different units of measure. One is full red, one is full yellow, and one is borderline green yellow. In reality, your alk is fine at 7.5 dKH. I recommend 7-11 dKH.

Thank you very much for your reply, I will do as you say. We had only just the day before carried out a 50 litre water change, so didn't think it was going to be low. Just did another last night. My hubby uses natural seawater, so he may need to change over to the "made salt water".
Yes - it was Reef Zlements ICP test.
Thank you very much for your help :)
